Paul Dayton has been using
Talisman cue tips for a while now and had been saying some
nice things about our tips in email. I wanted to use what
he had said for our testimonials page and so I put a couple
of messages together and sent it to him to ask for permission
to use it on the site here. This is what I sent to him, made
up from his messages to me.

verdict may be out on the election but it is in on Talisman
tips. I tried the PRO med and it was ok. I tried the PRO soft
for the hell of it and it was great. I was sure I had found
the tip I was looking for. Unfortunately, I then tried the WB
med. Damned if it wasn't even better than the soft PRO. The
hard WB hasn't had enough time for me to make up my mind but
in the meantime I want to order some tips!
I
am still testing the tips and to date, they are the best ever.
I've never had a tip delaminate. I have been playing 3-cushion
with the med WB for four weeks (12 Hours) and there don't
seem to be any problems. Sure, a little fuzzing and a tiny
bit of mushrooming but you HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT 3-CUSHION
IS LIKE HITTING NOTHING BUT BREAK SHOT AFTER BREAKSHOT and
this is about as stern a test as I can come up with. The tips
are great. Heck, moori's mushroomed more.

I think it might be good for you if you mention the fact that
I am searching for the very best tip for my cues in as much
as the tip determines how the cue plays and hits. It really
is one of the most important parts of any cue. A tip can make
or break a cue. The better the tip, the better the cue. Moori's
were the best. YOURS ARE BETTER. I now have over 20 hours 3-cushion
time on the med WB tip and can say with certainty that this
tip in a 13 mm pool cue can put more english on the cue
ball than my 11.5 mm Moori tipped billiard cue. It really is
amazing. I have been playing for over 40 years and this is flat
out the best tip I have ever used. Mis-cues are something you
have to work hard to get. The tip holds chalk longer than most
tips and it doesn't lose its shape.
I
will be using your tips on all my custom cues unless some
one wants another specifies another tip against my advice.

take whatever parts of this you want and put it on the site.
I really mean it when I say these are the best tips I have
ever used and this goes all the way back to 1960. It includes
the original French Champion tips (I still have a few of these
left) the Chandeviert line of tips and about everything that
has come along. I am always trying to get a better tip. None
have done everything I want them to do. Your tips seem like
the end of the search. You have to be careful when applying
spin to the ball. The same offset on the cue ball using your
tip will apply more english than you are used to getting when
using another tip.
